Adventure Details
The Paracas + Huacachina Full Day combines the two greatest attractions of southern Peru in a single day: the marine wildlife of the Ballestas Islands and the giant dunes of South America's only natural oasis.
You start at 8:00 AM sailing to the Ballestas Islands. Then we drive you in air-conditioned transport to the Huacachina Oasis, with time for lunch by the lagoon, and at 4:00 PM you board the tubular buggy for the dune circuit and sunset sandboarding.
It is the definitive option for the southern route: return to Paracas or stay in Huacachina and continue to Nazca or Arequipa, with your luggage traveling safely in our vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the Paracas + Huacachina one-day tour cost?
The tour costs S/ 190 per person and includes the Ballestas boat trip, the Paracas–Huacachina transfer, tubular buggies, and sandboarding. Pier/SERNANP taxes (approx. S/ 16) and the municipal desert fee (approx. S/ 4) are paid separately. Approximate real total: S/ 210, no hidden charges.
Can I finish the tour in Huacachina instead of returning to Paracas?
Yes! Many travelers continue south to Nazca or Arequipa. You can end your day in Huacachina with your luggage on board at no extra cost. Just let us know when booking.
Where is my luggage kept during the tour?
Your bags travel securely in the trunk of the air-conditioned vehicle that takes you from Paracas to Huacachina, so you never have to leave them at a hotel.
Is food included in the tour?
No, but the itinerary leaves free time at the oasis, where you will find plenty of restaurants serving Peruvian, seafood, and international dishes by the lagoon.
Is it an exhausting day?
It is a full day (approx. 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM) but well balanced: a calm boat ride in the morning, a restful transfer at noon, and the buggy adrenaline only at 4:00 PM. Most travelers finish with energy to spare for the sunset.
What should I bring?
A windbreaker for the boat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a cap, closed shoes for sandboarding, and cash for taxes and lunch. Everything else (life jackets, boards, wax) is on us.
