Adventure Details
Tandem paragliding in Paracas is one of the most breathtaking adventure experiences on the Peruvian coast. You fly securely attached to an instructor pilot certified by the APVL (Peruvian Free Flight Association).
We take off from the Reserve's high cliffs, at spots like Supay Beach or the Mirador hill, where the steady Paracas sea breeze lifts the glider smoothly over the unique contrast of desert and ocean.
No training or cliff-jumping involved: the glider inflates gradually and takeoff feels like gently floating off the ground. Within seconds you are soaring with a view over the entire bay.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does paragliding in Paracas cost?
The tandem flight costs S/ 250 per person and includes a certified pilot, full safety equipment, a GoPro video of your flight, and transport to the takeoff point. Only the Reserve entrance fee (S/ 11) is paid separately.
How long is the flight?
The flight lasts 10 to 15 minutes depending on wind conditions, plus gear-up time and the safety briefing. The full experience takes about 1 hour.
Do I need any previous experience?
None. The pilot does all the work. You only need to take a few running steps at takeoff and lift your legs when landing.
Is it scary? Will I feel vertigo?
Less than you would think. There is no free fall and no sharp turns: the flight is smooth and stable, like sitting in a floating chair. Most passengers relax within seconds — and ask for acrobatics at the end.
Are there weight or age limits?
For safety, passenger weight must be between 40 kg (90 lbs) and 90 kg (200 lbs). Minors can fly with written parental consent.
What happens if there is no wind?
Paragliding depends entirely on the wind. If it is too weak or too strong, we wait for it to adjust within the afternoon window or reschedule at no cost to guarantee your safety.
What should I wear?
Comfortable long sleeves, long pants, and well-fitted closed shoes. We provide the helmet and harness. Phones must be well secured or left with our ground team.
